Gainspeed was a Sunnyvale-based cable technology startup specializing in Distributed Access Architecture (DAA) and Virtual CCAP solutions, enabling cable operators to meet skyrocketing capacity demands with better price-performance. Founded in 2012 by DOCSIS pioneer Shlomo Rakib, the company raised $37.5M before being acquired by Nokia in 2016.
