Free Form Fibers (FFF) is a Saratoga Springs, New York-based advanced materials company founded in 2015 that manufactures high-performance ceramic fibers using a proprietary laser-driven chemical vapor deposition (LCVD) process. The company specializes in producing inorganic High Performance Fibers (HPFs) — including silicon carbide (SiC), boron, and boron carbide fibers — with exceptional combinations of strength, stiffness, heat resistance, and chemical resistance for demanding applications. FFF's core innovation is a generic, rapid CVD-based process that can produce HPFs from a wide range of advanced materials without requiring ad-hoc per-material technology platforms, dramatically reducing development time and cost compared to conventional methods.
