Fos4X

fos4X GmbH was a Munich-based innovator in fiber optic sensor technology and data analytics for the wind energy industry, founded in 2010 and backed by HTGF and UVC Partners. The company developed proprietary fiber-optic measurement systems for monitoring wind turbine rotor blades, enabling real-time structural health monitoring and performance optimization. In September 2020, fos4X was fully acquired by Polytech A/S (Denmark), a leading wind turbine blade manufacturer, to integrate its sensing and analytics capabilities directly into Polytech's blade product lines.
