Foreverland

Foreverland is an Italian food-tech startup and benefit corporation based in Puglia, Southern Italy, that has developed Choruba, a cocoa-free chocolate alternative made from carob, pumpkin seeds, and chickpeas grown in the Mediterranean. Using proprietary fermentation and roasting techniques, the company transforms carob into a chocolate-like ingredient that tackles deforestation, water use, and food waste linked to traditional cocoa production. Foreverland supplies Choruba to confectionery partners such as Walcor, Dulciar, and Maxtris, and also sells finished products directly to consumers, having opened its first solar-powered commercial production facility in Putignano in 2025.
