Ergos is an Indian agri-fintech company building a 'Grainbank' platform that provides doorstep post-harvest supply chain services to small and marginal farmers across India. The platform enables farmers to store grain at scientifically managed farmgate warehouses, digitize their stored produce into tradable assets, access credit from partner NBFCs and banks against those assets, and sell grain at optimal off-season prices through Ergos's market linkage network. By serving the 86% of Indian farmers who are small or marginal and historically excluded from institutional storage and credit services, Ergos tackles post-harvest grain loss while improving farmer incomes — currently operating in Bihar with a goal to serve over 2 million farmers nationally.
