EOS Imaging

EOS Imaging, now part of the ATEC Spine Group, is a global medical device company headquartered in Paris, France, that designs and manufactures innovative low-dose 2D/3D X-ray imaging systems and orthopedic software solutions. Originally founded in 1989 as Biospace Med by Nobel Prize-winning physicist Georges Charpak, the company developed the EOS system — a biplanar, weight-bearing, whole-body digital X-ray platform that captures simultaneous frontal and lateral images at dramatically reduced radiation doses compared to conventional radiography. Its products, including the EOSedge system and sterEOS workstation, bridge the full spectrum of orthopedic care from diagnostic imaging to 3D surgical planning and post-operative assessment, and are installed in over 500 clinical sites across 40 countries serving more than one million patient exams per year. EOS Imaging was acquired by ATEC Spine in May 2021.
