Enigma is an AI robotics research lab that builds foundation models, a hardware-agnostic abstraction layer, and human-robot interfaces to make any robot intuitive to use. Founded in 2025 by Jonathan Jacobi and Gal Niv — former Israeli Unit 8200 cybersecurity researchers — the company studies how humans naturally want to interact with robots rather than focusing purely on model capability.
