The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Company (EVIQ) is a joint venture between the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), established in 2023. EVIQ builds nationwide EV charging infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, aiming to deploy more than 5,000 fast-charging stations in strategic locations to support the Kingdom's EV adoption and Vision 2030 goals, and operates the region's first dedicated R&D facility for testing chargers and software.
