EBANX

EBANX is a Brazilian payment technology company founded in 2012 in Curitiba by Alphonse Voigt, Wagner Ruiz, and João Del Valle. The company operates as a cross-border payments platform that enables global businesses — including Spotify, Airbnb, and Canva — to accept local payment methods from consumers in emerging markets across Latin America, Africa, and Asia. EBANX supports digital wallets, instant payment systems (such as Brazil's Pix), mobile money, boleto, and vouchers across more than 20 countries. Starting from the Endeavor accelerator program, EBANX grew to become one of Brazil's first unicorns with FTV Capital backing. Today, EBANX employs more than 700 people globally with offices in Curitiba, São Paulo, Mexico City, Montevideo, Singapore, Johannesburg, Cairo, and Shanghai.
