Duna

Duna is a European fintech startup founded in 2023 by two Stripe alumni — Duco van Lanschot and David Schreiber — that provides an AI-native compliance platform for regulated enterprises including banks, fintechs, and platforms. The platform accelerates business onboarding by automating KYC (know your customer), KYB (know your business), CDD (customer due diligence), and AML (anti-money laundering) workflows through a low-code policy engine that translates compliance requirements into auditable code. Duna integrates with 210+ local registries across jurisdictions, supports 7+ languages, and provides automated case management with 4-eye review workflows. Customers include Plaid, SeQura, and Brand New Day. The company raised a €10.7M seed round led by Index Ventures in May 2025 and a €30M Series A led by CapitalG (Alphabet's growth fund) in February 2026.
