Docosan

Docosan is a Vietnam-based digital healthcare navigation platform that allows patients to seamlessly find, compare, and book appointments with vetted healthcare providers. Founded in 2020 by Beth Ann Lopez and headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Docosan addresses the fragmented private healthcare landscape in Vietnam — where patients previously had to choose among over 30,000 private hospitals and clinics based solely on word-of-mouth, then wait in line for hours upon arrival. The platform allows users to filter providers by location and specialty, view pricing information and verified patient reviews, and book appointments online. Providers on the platform have on average 18 years of clinical experience. Docosan also offers healthcare providers software tools to manage bookings and reduce wait times, and has added online payment and insurance integrations. The company raised a $1M+ seed round in April 2021, one of the largest seed rounds for a Vietnamese health tech startup, led by AppWorks with participation from David Ma and Huat Ventures. Docosan participated in Harvard's Launch Lab X and the AppWorks Accelerator.
