Doconomy is a Swedish impact-tech company founded in 2018 by Mathias Wikström and Johan Pihl, dedicated to driving global climate action and financial wellbeing by equipping banks with innovative financial tools. Their platform enables banks to offer customers solutions that track and reduce carbon footprints through Impact Transaction, and empower sustainable savings via Impact Finance. Doconomy serves over 100 clients across more than 30 markets and has established partnerships with the UNFCCC, Mastercard, S&P Trucost, and WWF. In 2023, Doconomy acquired Dreams Technology—a Stockholm-based behavioral science fintech—becoming the world's first holistic provider bridging climate impact and financial wellbeing within banking. The company's groundbreaking Åland Index was recognized by Fast Company as the 7th most innovative company in 2022 and featured among Wired's top 100 startups globally.
