Docokids

Docokids is a digital health platform providing 24/7 pediatric guidance through WhatsApp, combining real pediatricians with AI to make expert medical advice accessible to families in Colombia and across Latin America. Since launching in 2022, the platform has answered over 350,000 pediatric inquiries and handles 7,000–8,000 conversations monthly, with 81% of users in Colombia. Docokids is building a custom AI model for fever management to autonomously handle frequent caregiver inquiries, reduce emergency room overcrowding, and empower rural families who lack access to nearby pediatricians. The company received investment from UNICEF's Venture Fund and is expanding into underserved regions including Chocó, La Guajira, Amazonas, and Vaupés.
