dloHaiti is a for-profit social enterprise providing safe, affordable drinking water to underserved rural and peri-urban communities in Haiti. The company operates cost-effective micro-distribution networks that resolve logistical and inventory financing challenges for small, predominantly women-operated retailers at the Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP). dloHaiti's model centers on local production and distribution of clean drinking water where public infrastructure is insufficient, with water delivered to retailers just-in-time to reduce tied-up capital. Founded in 2012, the company is led by a team of Haitian and American entrepreneurs, commits 100% of profits back into the business, and serves communities where 70% of the population lacks access to treated drinking water.
