Dispatch was a San Francisco-based robotics startup founded in 2015 by MIT and University of Pennsylvania computer vision researchers. The company built autonomous last-mile delivery robots capable of navigating sidewalks and pedestrian spaces. Dispatch was quietly acqui-hired by Amazon in 2017, and its technology and team contributed directly to Amazon's Scout autonomous delivery robot program.
