Diatide, Inc. (formerly Diatech Inc, NASDAQ: NITI) was a radiopharmaceutical company based in Londonderry, New Hampshire, specializing in peptide engineering, molecular biology, and radiolabeling chemistry. The company developed peptide-based compounds that bind to platelet GPIIb/IIIa receptors labeled with technetium-99m for imaging blood clots. Its key product AcuTect received FDA clearance in September 1998 for scintigraphic imaging of acute venous thrombosis in the lower extremities. Diatide was acquired by Schering Berlin, Inc. (a business unit of Schering AG, Germany) in October 1999.
