Founded in 2010 in Barcelona by Xavier Pladellorens and Àngel Corcuera, Deporvillage is one of Southern Europe's leading online retailers for specialist sports equipment. The company offers over 140,000 products from more than 250 brands across cycling, running, outdoor, triathlon, swimming, and training categories. Deporvillage expanded internationally across Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Germany, and the UK, reaching €120 million in revenue in 2020. In 2021 it joined the Iberian Sports Retail Group (ISRG), and was subsequently acquired by Iberian Sports Retail Group (part of the JD Sports group) in October 2022. The company operates from its Barcelona offices and a logistics center in Sallent, Barcelona, with more than 250 employees.
