DayTwo

DayTwo was an Israeli microbiome-based precision health company, founded in 2015 out of Weizmann Institute research, that used gut microbiome DNA sequencing, clinical trial data from Israel and the US, and machine learning to predict individual blood-glucose responses to food and deliver personalized nutrition recommendations for people with diabetes and prediabetes. Headquartered in Tel Aviv with a US office in the San Francisco Bay Area, DayTwo partnered with health systems and payers and raised over $50M in venture funding before ceasing most operations in 2023 and formally shutting down in 2024.
