Cybereason is a cybersecurity company founded in 2012 by Israeli intelligence veterans Lior Div, Yonatan Striem-Amit, and Yossi Naar. The company developed the Cybereason Defense Platform, an AI-powered XDR (Extended Detection and Response) solution that provides endpoint protection, NGAV, EDR, threat hunting, and managed detection and response (MDR). Cybereason's signature MalOp™ engine delivers operation-centric rather than alert-centric security, correlating attacks across all endpoints into a complete attack narrative. Originally headquartered in Boston with R&D in Israel, Cybereason raised approximately $900M in funding before being acquired by LevelBlue in 2025.
