ConnecTV was a second-screen TV application developed by SMRTV Inc., founded in 2010 and based in Emeryville, California. The app automatically synced a viewer's tablet or smartphone to the TV show being watched, providing bonus content (actor bios, trivia), social commentary, a SocialTV Timeline feed, and an ad-syncing feature that delivered complementary mobile ads alongside TV commercials.
