Cobalt Robotics

Cobalt AI, founded in 2016 as Cobalt Robotics, provides AI-driven security monitoring for enterprise global security operations centres (GSOCs). The company began with autonomous indoor security robots and has since centred its offering on Cobalt Monitoring Intelligence, a platform that triages camera and sensor events and escalates only what needs human judgment. Named enterprise customers include FedEx and Salesforce, where the platform reportedly saves over 6,000 operator hours per month and integrates with Agentforce and Slack; Cobalt reports monitoring 500+ camera streams across five continents, resolving up to 94% of events without human escalation at sub-15-second average handler response. The platform integrates with Eagle Eye Networks, Milestone XProtect, Genetec, Okta, ServiceNow and major elevator/facility systems. Cobalt raised $49.8M across four rounds before being acquired by investor Dean Drako in June 2024, at which point it was renamed from Cobalt Robotics to Cobalt AI.
