Cmd (formerly cmdsecurity.com) built Linux server security software providing real-time monitoring and threat detection for cloud infrastructure. Founded in 2016 in Vancouver, Canada, the company developed an agent-based platform that gave security teams visibility and control over Linux workloads across cloud environments. Cmd was acquired by Elastic in 2021, and its technology was integrated into Elastic Security to enhance Linux runtime protection capabilities.
