Clasp Therapeutics is a biotechnology company with dual headquarters in Rockville, Maryland and Cambridge, Massachusetts, developing next-generation T cell engagers (TCEs) for precision immuno-oncology. Originally formed in 2020 as ManaT Bio around mutation-associated neoantigen research from Johns Hopkins scientists Bert Vogelstein and Drew Pardoll, the company rebranded and launched publicly in March 2024 with $150 million in seed and Series A financing from Catalio Capital Management, Third Rock Ventures, Novo Holdings, Vivo Capital, and Cure Ventures. Clasp's TCEs target tumor-specific mutant antigens presented via specific HLA types, aiming to reduce the off-tumor toxicity seen with earlier-generation T cell engagers.
