Cask

Cask Data built the Cask Data Application Platform (CDAP), an open-source, unified middleware platform for developing and running big data applications on Apache Hadoop and Spark. CDAP provided developers with data and application abstractions that simplified building, deploying, and managing data-intensive pipelines regardless of Hadoop experience. The platform offered both data integration and application development capabilities, dramatically reducing time-to-production for enterprise analytics projects. Google acquired Cask in May 2018 and integrated CDAP into Google Cloud as Cloud Data Fusion.
