Cask Data built the Cask Data Application Platform (CDAP), an open-source, unified middleware platform for developing and running big data applications on Apache Hadoop and Spark. CDAP provided developers with data and application abstractions that simplified building, deploying, and managing data-intensive pipelines regardless of Hadoop experience.
