CapeOmega

CapeOmega is an energy infrastructure company focused on building the next generation of low-carbon maritime infrastructure to support the global energy transition. Originally established as the largest private gas infrastructure owner on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, the company evolved its strategy to invest in a fleet of ten new-build LNG carriers contracted to globally leading LNG providers including Shell, Engie, and QatarEnergy. Headquartered in Bergen, Norway, CapeOmega operates with a small specialist team and has attracted backing from Partners Group, before being sold to Ocean Yield and KKR in 2025. The company platform represents a significant step toward decarbonizing maritime energy transport.
