Calendra was a privately-held software company headquartered in Paris, France, specializing in Web-based business identity management solutions. The company's flagship product, Directory Manager, enabled enterprises to manage user identities, organizational directories, and access provisioning through a web-based interface. Calendra was the leading European provider of business-oriented identity and access management (IAM) software before being acquired by BMC Software in January 2005 for approximately $33 million in cash.
