The company gently cooks meals from human-grade ingredients and delivers them directly to pet owners via a subscription model, establishing itself as the first-to-market and leading fresh pet food brand in the UK. Butternut Box is a certified B Corp with operations in the UK, the Netherlands, Poland (via its acquisition of PsiBufet), Germany, and other European markets, serving hundreds of thousands of dogs. The company raised a landmark £280 million investment from General Atlantic and L Catterton in 2023 and is valued at over £500 million.
