BottleCap AI is a Prague-based foundational AI research company building architecture-first large language models with a focus on training efficiency and inference efficiency. Co-founded by Tomas Mikolov (inventor of Word2Vec, 200k+ citations) and Jaroslav Beck (co-founder of Beat Saber, acquired by Meta in 2019), the team develops novel algorithms to make existing LLMs radically more efficient and ships AI products including AI Scan, a bias-detection and sentiment measurement tool. The company raised a $7.5M seed round in early 2025 and operates at the intersection of fundamental research and rapid product deployment.
