Bloks Group Ltd. is a Shanghai-based toy manufacturer founded in 2014 by Zhu Weisong, who is also the founder of Shenzhen-listed Yoozoo Interactive. The company is China's largest player in the assembly character toy segment and the third largest globally, holding a 30.3% share of the Chinese market. Originally launched as a maker of educational building blocks for toddlers, Bloks pivoted in 2022 to focus on licensed assembly character toys for children and teenagers aged 6 to 16, licensing iconic IPs including Ultraman, Transformers (via Hasbro), Pokémon, Marvel's Spider-Man, Sanrio's Hello Kitty, and Bandai IP. The company holds more than 500 patents and sells products across a mass-market price range. Bloks posted explosive growth—GMV grew 170% in 2023 to 1.7 billion yuan—and completed a $215 million Hong Kong IPO in January 2025, with founder Zhu Weisong becoming a billionaire after shares surged 82% on debut.
