It operates an acquire-and-operate model: it buys established consumer and prosumer software products that already have product-market fit, then applies technology modernization (including AI integration), pricing and monetization changes, and cost reduction, with the stated intent of holding acquired products indefinitely rather than reselling them. Disclosed revenue grew from $387 million in 2023 to $671 million in 2024 to $1.31 billion in 2025, with 2025 adjusted operating income of $613 million and roughly break-even GAAP net income. The company completed its initial public offering on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on July 1, 2026 under ticker BSP, pricing shares at $29.00 for a valuation of approximately $18.4 billion, with the co-founders retaining more than 80% of voting power post-IPO. In August 2026 it agreed to acquire Airtable for $1.285 billion in its first post-IPO deal.
