Baseconnect Inc. is a Kyoto-based B2B SaaS company founded in 2016 that operates a knowledge engine connecting business data from across Japan and the world. Its flagship product Musubu is a cloud-based corporate information database covering over 1.4 million Japanese companies and business establishments, enabling sales teams to discover prospects, build targeted lists, and improve lead generation efficiency. The company also offers a data provider API service (Partnarship) for integration with CRM and other enterprise systems, and Riskdog, an AI-powered business risk assessment tool for evaluating counterparty creditworthiness. Baseconnect raised a total of JPY 5.4 billion in a Series B round in February 2023 and crossed 100,000 cumulative enterprise customers for Musubu in January 2023.
