Bang-Er Medical (邦尔骨科医院集团) is a nationally recognized orthopedic hospital chain investor and operator based in Zhejiang, China. Founded nearly 20 years ago, the company has grown to become one of the strongest domestic orthopedic chain brands in China. As of 2019, Bang-Er operated 14 hospitals and 4 outpatient clinics under its holding structure, with a total bed capacity of approximately 4,000 and annual surgical volume of nearly 20,000 procedures — more than 50% of which are classified as third- or fourth-level complexity surgeries. The group has served close to 1 million patients. In 2023, Bang-Er completed a pre-IPO funding round of over 800 million yuan (~$110M) led by state-affiliated Xiamen C&D Emerging Industry Equity Investment. Investors include F-Prime Capital, Qiming Venture Partners, and Cenova Capital. The company combines hospital operations with medical investment management, positioning itself at the intersection of healthcare delivery and institutional capital in China's growing private orthopedic sector.
