Banco Fie

Banco FIE is a Bolivian bank established in 2010 that provides financial services — including credit, savings, insurance, and digital banking — to micro, small, and medium enterprises and underserved individuals, with a particular focus on women entrepreneurs. Originally an NGO, the institution has become a benchmark for inclusive and sustainable banking in Bolivia, earning a AA1 risk rating from MicroFinanza Rating and winning the 2022 European Microfinance Award for Financial Inclusion that Works for Women. Banco FIE is backed by Bamboo Capital Partners and works with partners including the IDB Invest, CAF, and Rabobank to expand access to financial services.
