BackLight

BackLight is a Paris-based XR (extended reality) creative studio founded in 2008, specializing in the design, development, and production of high-end immersive experiences across virtual reality, augmented reality, and interactive installations. The studio creates experiences for three primary verticals: brand content (activation campaigns for corporate clients), location-based entertainment (LBE attractions for theme parks and cultural venues), and culture (museum and artistic productions). With over 389 completed projects, 87 international awards, 63 VR projects since 2014, and 49 AR projects since 2010, BackLight has established itself as one of France's leading immersive production studios. Notable works include Iron Man VR for Disneyland Paris, The Phantom of the Opera VR for Europa Park, and the Oz Experiences theatrical release. Co-founded by Frederic Lecompte, the studio blends cinematic storytelling with real-time 3D engineering and proprietary immersive technology.
