Avantium is a Dutch pioneer in renewable and circular chemistry, developing and commercializing innovative technologies that produce high-performance materials from sustainable plant-based feedstocks. Its flagship product, Releaf PEF (polyethylene furanoate), is a 100% plant-based, recyclable polymer derived from FDCA (furandicarboxylic acid) that outperforms conventional plastics for bottles, packaging, and textiles with up to 88% lower carbon emissions. Avantium also develops CO2-based polyesters and chemicals via electrochemical conversion, and the Dawn technology platform that turns textile waste into value.
