Autonomys

Autonomys (formerly Subspace Network) is a vertically integrated Layer 1 blockchain designed as the foundation layer for AI3.0 — a future where humans and AI agents interact, collaborate, and create value across open, decentralized networks. The Autonomys Network implements the Subspace Protocol, a novel storage-based consensus mechanism using Proof-of-Archival-Storage (PoAS) that separates consensus from execution for scalability. Co-founded in 2021 by Jeremiah Wagstaff and Nazar Mokrynskyi, the project rebranded from Subspace Network to Autonomys in 2024. Core products include Auto Drive (permanent on-chain data storage), Auto SDK, and Auto EVM (a permissionless EVM domain). The company is headquartered in San Francisco.
