About
Augmenta Agriculture Technologies developed an AI-powered field analyzer system that mounts on tractor cabin roofs to automate crop input applications. Using multispectral cameras, the device analyzes crop foliage in real time and automatically commands implements to apply precise amounts of fertilizers and chemicals in a single pass. The company operated in 16 countries across nine broad-acre crops, delivering consistent ROI of one to two years for farmers. Augmenta was founded in Greece and raised over $11 million in venture funding before being acquired by CNH Industrial for $110 million in March 2023.
