Atari is a multi-platform global interactive entertainment and licensing company. Founded in 1972 by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney, Atari pioneered the arcade and home video game industry with iconic titles including Pong, Asteroids, and Centipede. Today, Atari SA (formerly Infogrames Entertainment) is a French holding company that owns and manages a portfolio of more than 200 game franchises. The company develops and publishes games across PC, console, and mobile platforms while licensing its classic IP.
