Arlan Biotech is a Kazakhstan-based biotech company, founded in 2021, that develops synthetic nanobody-based products using AI and machine learning. The company builds a synthetic nanobody library with high specificity to disease-related proteins, supporting in vitro diagnostics and drug development for cancer, diabetes, and autoimmune diseases. Its SYNTHETIQ product line includes rapid antigen tests, starting with a home SARS-CoV-2 test, with pregnancy, hepatitis B/C, and HIV tests in development. Arlan Biotech collaborates with academic and industry partners including the University of Zurich, Harvard Medical School, and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory.
