Ariga

Ariga is an Israeli developer tools company founded in 2021 in Tel Aviv that builds Atlas, an open-source, language-agnostic database schema management platform. Atlas enables engineering teams to manage database schemas as code using a declarative, Terraform-like approach — defining the desired database state and letting Atlas compute, lint, and safely apply the migration plan. The platform supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, ClickHouse, and 10+ other databases, with built-in safeguards that detect destructive changes, blocking table locks, and data loss risks before migrations ship. Ariga also offers Atlas Cloud, a SaaS DBRE (Database Reliability Engineering) platform with schema registry, deployment logs, audit trails, and production safeguards. The company raised $18 million in funding in 2023, including a $3M seed and $15M Series A led by Tiger Global and TLV Partners. Atlas has been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times with users running it thousands of times daily.
