Area 1 Security provides a preemptive, cloud-native email security platform that identifies and blocks phishing attacks, business email compromise (BEC), spear phishing, and other advanced threats before they hit user inboxes. The company uses big data and threat intelligence to identify threat campaigns, attacker infrastructure, and attack delivery mechanisms to provide advanced warning and protection for Office 365 and Gmail users. Area 1 Security was founded in 2013 in San Francisco and became part of the Cloudflare Zero Trust platform after being acquired by Cloudflare in April 2022.
