Applied Diamond uses the extraordinary properties of diamond to help customers push their products to new heights, serving technical and scientific applications from its laboratory facility in Wilmington, Delaware. The company has been involved with CVD diamond films since 1992, and in 1999 acquired the microwave plasma CVD reactors formerly used by ASTeX, allowing it to offer both material growth and post-processing services. Its diverse product line includes components for IR spectrophotometers, high-energy beam lines, machining and wear resistance, electronic heat sinking, CO2 laser and microwave windows, and MEMS/biosubstrates, with clients across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
