AMOEBA

Amoéba is an innovative company created in July 2010 by Fabrice Plasson to develop a University of Lyon patent based on the amoeba Willaertia magna C2c Maky, a single-celled organism isolated from a natural environment that can fight legionella proliferation. The company later diversified into two technologies: living amoeba used to treat water, surfaces, and chronic wounds, and a lysed amoeba form used as agricultural biocontrol against phytopathogenic microorganisms. Listed on Euronext Paris since July 2015 after raising capital, Amoéba develops scientific, industrial, and commercial expertise around natural alternatives to chemical treatments for water, wounds, and plant protection.
