Amen was a Berlin-based social networking startup founded in February 2011 by Felix Petersen, Florian Weber, and Caitlin Winner. The app debuted at TechCrunch Disrupt 2011 and offered an iOS and web-based application where users could post strong opinions and others could affirm or reject them. Each statement had a permanent link and binary voting. The company raised approximately $3M from notable investors including Ashton Kutcher's A-Grade Investments, Index Ventures, Sunstone Capital, Slow Ventures (Dave Morin), SoundCloud's Alexander Ljung and Eric Wahlforss, and Christophe Maire. Amen was acquired by tape.tv in August 2013.
