Alpenglow Instruments LLC

Alpenglow Instruments LLC is a technology spinoff from the University of Wyoming's Department of Atmospheric Science, specializing in the design, development, and support of compact, robust lidar systems and in-situ remote sensing instruments for atmospheric aerosol, cloud, gas (water vapor and methane) measurements. Their flagship product, the Alpenglow All-Phase Water Probe, uses Raman scattering to measure water vapor, liquid water, and ice water content simultaneously in the atmosphere, addressing significant measurement gaps in cloud ice water content characterization.
