Akkurate

Akkurate was a Finnish deep-tech company specializing in lithium-ion battery diagnostics and analytics, founded in 2016 by members of Nokia and Microsoft Mobile's former battery R&D team. Its flagship product, DIAGNOSE, was battery analytics software that helped companies determine residual value, extend battery life, and optimize performance of stationary and mobile lithium-ion applications. Headquartered in Kaarina, Finland, the company grew to a team of about 12 battery specialists and raised backing from investors including Tesi (Finnish Industry Investment), Fortum's Valkea Growth Club, and Lifeline Ventures. In June 2022, Akkurate was acquired by Sandvik and folded into the Load and Haul division of Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, strengthening Sandvik's battery-electric vehicle and electrification offering.
