Aignostics is a Berlin-based artificial intelligence company founded in 2018 as a spin-off from Charite Berlin, one of Europe's largest university hospitals, focused on transforming drug development and improving patient outcomes through AI-powered computational pathology. The company develops foundation models and clinical decision support tools that turn complex multimodal pathology data — including whole slide images, proteomics, transcriptomics, and epigenomics — into actionable insights for precision medicine. Its flagship product line, Aignostics Atlas, includes the Atlas H&E-TME application for comprehensive tumor microenvironment profiling, co-developed with Mayo Clinic and validated against expert pathologists. The company has raised $54.8M including a $34M Series B in October 2024, employs over 120 people across offices in Berlin and New York, and has established research collaborations with pharmaceutical partners including Bayer.
