Founded in 2006, Aerohive provided cloud-managed networking solutions including Wi-Fi access points, switches, branch routers, and AI/ML-powered network management for medium-sized and larger businesses. The company went public on the NYSE in 2014 under the ticker HIVE, before being acquired by Extreme Networks in August 2019 for approximately $272 million.
