Intelligence-driven energy storage for a cleaner grid
Advanced Microgrid Solutions (AMS) was founded in 2013 in San Francisco, California by Susan Kennedy. The company designed, financed, installed, and managed advanced battery energy storage systems at commercial, industrial, and government sites, using AI-driven software to optimize energy dispatch and participate in grid services markets. AMS developed a proprietary intelligence platform called Alvine using machine learning to bid energy storage assets into wholesale electricity markets. In October 2020, Fluence acquired AMS's AI-driven software platform.
