Acus

Acus is an Italian deep-tech startup focused on sustainability in advanced composites manufacturing. The company has developed an innovative reusable mold technology where adaptable structures are placed by an automatic system and then covered by an additively manufactured surface, enabling significant reductions in setup and machining time of up to 30%, lower material costs through structure reuse, flexibility to accommodate design changes without retooling, and reduced process waste and CO2 emissions. Acus serves industries including defence, aerospace, motorsport racing, and marine. The company offers an online configurator that allows customers to estimate materials, times, and costs using the Acus method. Acus is a participant in the ESA Business Incubation Centre in Padua and has received co-financing through the Regione Veneto PR FESR 2021-2027 innovation program. The company is headquartered in San Giorgio in Bosco, in the Padua province of Italy.
